That is genuinely useful once you're ready for it: the real, multi-lane, signalised traffic you'll drive for the rest of your life is right on the doorstep, so you don't have to go looking for it to practise.

We just don't start you there. Your first lessons are on MacGregor's quiet estate streets and courts, and only once the basics are automatic do we take you onto Kessels Road and Mains Road for real merging, lane changes and signalised intersections, in stages, backing onto Sunnybank, Robertson and Eight Mile Plains as you're ready.

Pre-Test Driving Lessons MacGregor, Your Greenslopes Test

The nearest practical test centre to MacGregor is Greenslopes (in the Greenslopes Shopping Mall on Logan Road), about 7.4 km north. TMR doesn't assign you a centre, so you're free to sit wherever suits, and Sherwood and Logan Central are both there a little further out. Most MacGregor learners test at Greenslopes, and we'll have you confident on the roads and manoeuvres it uses well before the day. Every test-day package includes a warm-up lesson and the car.
