How many driving lessons do I need to pass?
It depends where you're starting from, so here's the honest breakdown:
- Learning and test readiness depend on your experience, practice and progress. Discuss a lesson plan and your preferred transmission with your instructor.
- Some experience: a 5-lesson pack is the sweet spot to sharpen up and fill your logbook.
- Build familiarity with local roads while practising the driving skills assessed in the practical test.
We'll recommend the right amount when you book, based on where you're at. No upselling.
How do logbook hours work in Queensland?
Eligible Queensland learner hours with an accredited trainer can count at triple time for the first ten driving hours. Night hours and bonus time have separate recording rules. Queensland learner logbook guidance
Queensland drivers aged 25 or over do not need to submit a learner logbook. Licence holding periods and test requirements still apply; check TMR’s current eligibility guidance.
