A little local perspective

School trips and lake visits in Currimundi.

Cliff Hargreaves Park is beside Currimundi Lake, with access from Westaway Parade and Hargreaves Street. Talara Primary College is at 24 Talara Street. Each trip needs a clear address and attention to the people around you.

1

Choosing where to meet at the lake

Cliff Hargreaves Park can be reached from two streets. Agree on a specific meeting place before you drive there, rather than trying to find someone while circling the area.

2

Parking near the pathway

The park has parking and connects with the Coastal Pathway. Look for people walking or riding nearby as you park and when you leave.

Passing the college

Talara Primary College is on Talara Street. Watch the road, signs and people near the school instead of relying on how quiet it was the last time you passed.

For parents and supervising drivers

Ask what the learner is working on and how practice between lessons can support it. A licence is the milestone; safe driving for life is the bigger picture.
