When the basics are solid, Oxford Street is the real test of Bulimba driving. It is a narrow village strip with cars parked both sides, people stepping out and delivery vans doubling up, so it teaches patient, watchful low-speed driving better than almost anywhere we work. From there, Bulimba Parade and the run east toward Apollo Road open up into wider, faster stretches for lane discipline and give-way calls, so you build up in stages rather than being thrown straight into the deep end.
